Synopsis
Smudged Smile focuses on Zoe, a joyful teenager whose infectious love for life lifts everyone around her. With her sweet 16 approaching, everything seems to be going well in Zoe's world, yet depression sits behind the cheerful image she tries to maintain. The film explores the gap between how someone appears and how they feel, and how difficult it can be to make pain visible.
