This privacy policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data when using ZEISE MEDIA, the shared sign-in process and associated web projects.
1. Controller
The controller is the person named in the legal notice. Privacy-related enquiries can be submitted via the contact page or by email to hello@zeise.media.
2. General information on data processing
Personal data is processed only where necessary to provide, secure, communicate through or administer the website.
Processing is purpose-bound, limited and remains under the control of ZEISE MEDIA. Data is not passed on to third parties for advertising, profiling or tracking purposes.
Legal bases may include Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for usage-related functions, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for technical security and operation, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is explicitly requested.
3. Hosting and technical provision
Hosting is provided by Uberspace. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data such as IP address, date and time, requested address, transferred data volume, browser and operating system information and referrer may be processed where required for delivery, troubleshooting and security.
Web server log files are disabled where possible or used only where technically necessary and for a limited time. They are not analysed for advertising or reach profiles.
4. Contacting us
The contact form processes name, email address, request, optional project selection, website, message and technically necessary anti-abuse data.
The information is used solely to process the respective enquiry and any follow-up questions.
5. Shared sign-in process
ZEISE MEDIA operates a shared sign-in process for selected web projects. A ZEISE MEDIA account can allow authorised people to access approved projects.
Only the information required for sign-in, account administration, security and project-specific approvals is processed.
Connected web projects receive only the information required for the respective purpose so that sign-in, approval and permissions can be checked.
Project-specific roles, permissions, settings and content may also be stored in the respective web project. This data remains purpose-bound and is not evaluated across projects for unrelated purposes.
6. Connected web projects
The shared sign-in process may include ZEISE MEDIA, ZEISE MEDIA DEV, NEXTPRIDE, SPERLINK, ZEISE CLOUD and ZEISE CODES, among others. Each project stores or retrieves only what is required for sign-in, approval, permissions and use of the respective function.
Examples include roles and status in a project, approved domains in a URL shortener, personal calendar, contact, note or media data, personal watchlists or administration rights.
Control over this data remains with ZEISE MEDIA. Cross-project consolidation takes place only where necessary for central authentication, security, administration or explicitly requested functions.
8. Content, short links, calendars, contacts and notes
Depending on the project, protected areas may store user content such as short links, destination addresses, access statistics, calendar data, contact data, notes, media descriptions or project configuration.
This content is assigned to the respective account, project or permission. Where accesses or changes are logged, this supports functionality, security, traceability or statistics within the respective project.
Publicly shared content may be accessible through a public address depending on the function. Non-public content remains limited to authorised people.
9. Recipients and processing on behalf
Personal data is disclosed only where this is required for operation, security, legal obligations or the respective function. Hosting and infrastructure services may be provided by technical service providers, in particular the hosting provider.
Where service providers process personal data on behalf of ZEISE MEDIA, this is done for a specific purpose and in accordance with GDPR requirements.
10. Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.
There is also the right to submit a report to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
11. Retention period
Data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Project-related content generally remains stored for as long as the account, the respective approval or the relevant purpose exists. Earlier deletion or blocking may take place if content is legitimately no longer needed.
12. Updates to this policy
This privacy policy is updated when functions, technical processes, connected web projects or legal requirements change.
